Thank you for your interest in the Regional Academic Health Center (RAHC) of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

In addition to advancing the mission of educating the next generation of health care providers, the RAHC is also a driving force for improving the health of our communities and a major catalyst for research on diseases that affect the border region. The RAHC reflects a strong and dynamic partnership between our university and the Lower Rio Grande Valley community, including its practitioners, health care facilities and elected leadership. Since its inception just a few years ago, the RAHC has been growing and maturing, and we at the Health Science Center embrace its ongoing development for health, research and education throughout South Texas.
