Dr. Pean attended medical school at the Universidad Veracruzana in
Veracruz, Mexico and completed internal medicine residency training at
the Mount Carmel Mercy Hospital in Detroit, MI. He performed a pulmonary
and critical care fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit and a
research fellowship in pulmonary physiology at the University of Texas
Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Dr. Pean is board certified
in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine, a Fellow of the American
College of Physicians-American Society of Internal Medicine, and a
Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians.
Charles F. Mild, MD, FACC, FSCAI
Chief, Division of Cardiology
Key Faculty
Dr. Mild attended medical school at the University of Illinois in
Chicago and completed internal medicine residency training at the
University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He completed
fellowship training in cardiology at the University of New Mexico in
Albuquerque and is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, and
interventional cardiology. Dr. Mild is a Fellow of the American College
of Cardiology and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiac Angiography and
Intervention.
Muhammed Gulzar Nathani, MD, FACP, FACG
Chief, Division of Gastroenterology
Dr. Nathani attended medical school at the Dow Medical College in
Karcachi, Pakistan. He did initial Internal Medicine residency training
at the Aga Khan University Hospital in Karcahi. He moved to the United
States in 1991. He then did an Internal Medicine residency and
Gastroenterology felllowship at Wayne State University in Detroit,
Michigan. Dr. Nathani was honored as Chief Fellow in Gastroenterology during
his Hepatology fellowship. He is a fellow of American College of
Physicians and also a fellow of American College of Gastroenterolgy.
Anshu Bhatla, MD, FACP
Key Faculty
Dr. Bhatla attended medical school at the Lady Harding Medical College
in New Delhi, India. She completed internal medicine residency training
at the University of Missouri in Columbia. Dr. Bhatla is board certified
in internal medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians-
American Society of Internal Medicine.
C.T. Reddy, MD
Key Faculty
Received his MD degree in 1978 from Kakateeya Medical College in India.
In 1994 he completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Woodhull Medical
and Mental Health Center in NY in 1994. Dr. Reddy began his practice at
Su Clinica Familiar May 30, 1995. Dr. Reddy is Board Certified in
Internal Medicine and is the Co-Chair of Su Clinica Familiar's Diabetes
Education Committee, Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine (UTHSCSA),
Member of the Valley Baptist Medical Centers' Internal Medicine Faculty
Committee and Credentials Committee, and Member of the Board of
Directors of Valley Health Care Network.
Joseph C. Dougherty, MD, FACP
Chief, Division of Nephrology
Dr. Dougherty attended medical school at Cornell University and
completed internal medicine residency training at the Albany Medical
Center and Bellevue Hospital in New York. He completed fellowship
training in cardiology and nephrology at the New York Hospital. Dr.
Dougherty is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology and a
Fellow of the American College of Physicians-American Society of
Internal Medicine.
